Adah Sharma Sign's a new movie, Replaces Leading Actress in ‘Hasee to Phaseee’

Talented newcomer Adah Sharma has bagged a headlining role, earlier earmarked for an A-list actress, in the upcoming movie Hasee to Phaseee.

The big budget film is being jointly produced by Dharma Production (Karan Johar) and Phantom Films (Anurag Kashyap, Vikas Bahl, Madhu Mantena and Vikramaditya Motwani), and directed by Bollywood debutant Vinil Mathew, a veteran ad filmmaker.

Production of the film, which additionally headlines Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra (Student of the Year), started on Thursday 18th April.

Adah – who made an impressive Bollywood debut in the 2008 horror film 1920 – has already shot scenes for Hasee to Phaseee, but was officially signed on for the project only recently!

She plays the younger bratty sister of Parneeti’s character in what turns out to be a love triangle.

Motwane confirmed that Adah had been signed on for the project to a print publication.

Hasee Toh Phasee is slotted for release on Jan 24, 2014.
